DESCRIPTION
Wouldn't you know it? Of all the people on Earth only you and your girlfriend Kimberly have the guts to stop the impending invasion of Commander Borf's forces. But just as you get there, the big blue intergalactic conqueror kidnaps your woman and blasts you with the Infanto Ray. Now you've gone from the handsome hero called Ace to the nerdy zero called Dexter. And to make matters worse, you're fighting for your life!
In Don Bluth's interactive cartoon Space Ace, take control of Dexter/Ace as you try to rescue Kimberly and save Earth from Borf's Infanto Ray, which has the power to change the planet's entire population into babies. You'll pursue the evil blue hulk of an alien across the galaxy, ending up on space stations and other planets. Borf's minions are relentless, so it could be a while before you take on the big guy yourself. Luckily, your wimpy Dexter form has the ability to "energize" and become Ace again from time to time.
The movement in Space Ace is somewhat unique. A simple tap of the D-pad will move Ace in the desired direction, usually to the place indicated by a blinking light. Occasionally, there will be no safe spot and Ace must fire his gun.
Space Ace is a direct port from the 1983 Arcade game of the same name. ~ Christopher Michael Baker, All Game Guide
