You're Ace, protecting the Earth from the evil Commander Borf, who plans to conquer Earth using his dreaded "Infanto Ray," capable of turning all the citizens of Earth into children in the blink of an eye.

That's the situation in Space Ace. Unfortunately, you get hit by the infanto ray early on and are turned from the strong and dashing Ace into the weak and nerdy Dexter. During the game, you can energize during certain parts, becoming Ace again. Unfortunately, it's not permanent, and you soon become Dexter once more.
