DESCRIPTION
Based on the 1983 laser-disk Arcade game, Space Ace is the sequel to Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair. In this game you are Ace, Earth's greatest hero. You must stop evil commander Borf from taking over the world and destroy his super-powerful weapon, the Infanto Ray. Borf has also kidnapped the beautiful Kimberly and you must rescue her.
Space Ace is something like an interactive cartoon. You don't control each and every action of your character, but you control his reactions to the events taking place around him. As you watch each of the more than 40 animated sequences play out, you must decide in which direction Ace should go and when. You must choose at what points he should wield his laser staff and fire his laser gun, and when he should jump, duck or run.
Space Ace will take you through a space station and to a bizarre alien planet. You and your weak alter ego Dexter will face alien dogs, purple monsters, blue cat people, security robots, deadly rays, moving platforms and the despicable Borf himself. Borf wields a mighty staff and is your most ferocious opponent in the game. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
