After nearly a decade of arcade and console exclusivity, Namco's critically acclaimed 3D Fighting series goes handheld for the first time in Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny. Gamers can choose from more than 25 characters, including God of War's irascible antihero Kratos, and in a feature taken from Soul Calibur IV, players can once again personalize their fighters with large number of character customization options. "The Gauntlet" features a storyline fleshed out over several fight-filled chapters, and serves as Broken Destiny's primary single-player mode. “I thought this version was pretty good. The characters were balanced pretty well with a few exception (I'm looking at you Apprentice). I just didn't like how big of a factor equipment was in online mode. I loved that they had multiple online modes, and my favorite is the one where you can design your character, but the stats and everything else from the gear don't play a part. That reminded me of the good ol' arcade days. ”
