DESCRIPTION

To celebrate the 15th birthday of a gaming character icon, Sega is releases this port of the original Sonic the Hedgehog to the Game Boy Advance. As in the original, players guide the running, jumping, spinning, enemy-pouncing title character through seven zones, including the Spring Yard Zone and the Labyrinth Zone, while searching for hidden rings, extra lives, power sneakers, and other goodies. While exploring these areas, Sonic must fend off such bad guys as Caterkiller and Dr. Robotnik, avoid obstacles, and gain access to bonus levels. The game features a special "Anniversary" mode for players that includes the ability to "Spin Dash" away from enemies.
