DESCRIPTION
This original Sonic game for Nintendo's Dual Screen handheld offers gamers dual adventures, both in the series' speedy, side-scrolling style. Designed to make use of the handheld's distinctive features, the action plays out on both screens, and multiplayer modes are wirelessly supported. In Sonic Rush, Sonic the Hedgehog is joined by Blaze the Cat, who is a beneficent queen in a parallel dimension. In tandem, the two hurried heroes must each race through their own realms to protect the power of the "Sol Emerald" and preserve the fabric of reality itself. While the characters are both confined to their own dimensions, events in one character's realm can influence the state of the other realm, allowing the two to indirectly work together and help one another. ~ T.J. “Still trying to figure out whether this is the sequel or the prequel to Sonic Rush Adventure. What I like about it is it reminds me of the old Sonic games. Though I am still getting used to the dual screens.”

“A very fast paced sonic game for the DS. I enjoyed every second of this game. Some of the levels are very hard as well as the last special stage, but still a very fun game. If you like sonic game and have a DS then go pick this one up.”

“It really is a glory return to Sonic's original roots. I missed the Sonic Advance series, despite the critical acclaim heaped upon it, and I really just picked this one up on a whim, despite the fact that I love almost all of the Sonic Games (excluding the 3D ones, with the exception of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and the Daytime stages of Unleashed). The brought ol' Blue back to the way he should be played: frantic, fast, and furious. The only way you're gonna beat this game is by dying continuously and memorizing the levels... which is fine with me. Blaze seemed kinda like a tack-on, but it was still an okay run, and I'm glad they threw Super Sonic back at us, if only in time for a Boss Stage. If you dig classic Sonic, pick it up (and be sure to pick up Project Needlemouse, whenever it decides to reveal itself to the world).”
