DESCRIPTION

Sonic Mega Collection Plus is a single-disc compilation featuring all seven Sonic-related games released on the 16-bit Genesis console during the years 1991 to 1996. None of the games have been enhanced specifically for the PC and are presented in their original, emulated form. Featured 16-bit titles include Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 3D Blast, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, and Sonic Spinball.

Also available are six Sonic-themed titles originally released for the 8-bit Game Gear color handheld: Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Chaos, Sonic Drift, Sonic Labyrinth, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, and Sonic Blast. By satisfying certain in-game conditions, players can unlock an assortment of bonuses from the menu screen, such as the ability to play as Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Players will also be able to access four additional Genesis games, including Flicky, Ristar, The Ooze, and Comix Zone.
