DESCRIPTION

The alien pirate Scab stole the World Cup, but then he crashed into an asteroid and sent the precious trophy flying in pieces. It's up to the Soccer Kid to find the five hidden pieces of the World Cup and save the world's favorite sport. Many enemies await the Soccer Kid — he boots the soccer ball (and performs tricks, like bicycles) to defeat them. There are also soccer cards to collect and if he collects all the cards in a world, then the Soccer Kid goes to a bonus stage for a chance to get a piece of the World Cup trophy. Soccer Kid is a side-scrolling title similar to Mario Bros. and Abe's Oddysee, and 3DO owners will appreciate the chance to expand their game library with a quality title. 3DO developed Soccer Kid in house, and the game features twenty-eight levels spread over five countries: the United States, Russia, England, Italy, and Japan. ~ All Game Guide
