After its breakthrough performance on PS2, Sony's SingStar series heads for the hi-def big-time with an original release for PlayStation 3. While following the lead of the earlier games, featuring karaoke-style gameplay with audio and video by the songs' original artists, the PS3's SingStar offers more music and more customization options than its predecessors. Videos are presented in high definition, and players with a USB camera accessory can capture, create, and share their own music video interpretations. Those brave enough to share their creations with the game's "My SingStar Online" community can have their performances rated by other SingStar enthusiasts. The game disc comes with a selection of more than 30 songs, and online-connected crooners can also purchase and download new tunes through the game's "SingStore" feature. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide

As for SingStar, not played it since the PS2, though I'm sure my Wife would be happy if I bought her the new PS3 version! Plus, it is great when you have a party! Just talked myself into buying SingStar, how did that happen!!! :)”

“Verified gameplay trophies are on the middle right of gameplay pages. So like on this page for example...look right above the nudge button. They are actually acting a little funky right now, but that'll be fixed soon.”

“Yeah, it was bed time in England! Thanks for explaining the location of the verified trophies though guys! Also, thanks for the screenshot Ron!! The verified trophy 'badge' is not very impressive at the moment, it is s small and bland, I honestly did not notice it. I know PSN integration had to be rushed out in the last week, but hopefully the guys at GamerDNA can make it a bit more visually impressive in future. Not knocking it, glad to finally have it and they did a good job in the time given to them, but I just want a trophy notification that is more noticeable and informative!!”
