Made for use with the original version of Sim City, Sim City Alternate Architectures Set 1- Ancient Cities is a series of alternate graphics for use with your Sim City game that changes your modern cityscape into something else.

In Set 1, the theme is ancient cities, including Ancient China, Medieval Times and the Wild West. Each set includes a Sim City updater, a small pamphlet of user documentation, and a disk.

While these Graphics sets change the graphics used with Sim City, the game mechanics themselves do not change. However, the graphics must be re-loaded each time the game is restarted.

Included in the user documentation is a primer explaining how pollution, traffic, et al, is accounted for in each graphics set, and a depiction of the new zone graphics. ~ Lisa Karen Savignano, All Game Guide
