Combining turn-based tactical combat and role-playing, JoWood productions unifies the original Silent Storm with the expansion pack Silent Storm: Sentinels to create Silent Storm: Gold Edition. Start a campaign as a WWII soldier fighting in Europe under normal, hard, or impossible difficulty settings, or customize your own campaign. Select your squad from 40 specialists from over 30 different countries, and create a fully customizable main character. Choose one of the six military professions including scout, sniper and engineer. Each profession has nine pre-set skills and 50 skills that may be learned over time. Players can fight on the axis or allied side of the war with 75 authentic weapons and experimental combat equipment. After winning the war, players will continue through Silent Storm: Sentinels on peacekeeping missions. Thor's Hammer, a terrorist organization seldom seen during WWII, is taking advantage of Europe's war ravaged status. Veterans must take up a new cause, getting back behind the gun as an elite group called Sentinels.
