DESCRIPTION
Mankind has been colonizing space for 1000 years, spreading itself out onto many planets and declaring independence from Earth. But now a powerful corporation backed by its overwhelming military force is looking to establish Earth} rule over the colony planets. One by one each colony has been forced to agree to an unfavorable treaty that gave the corporation ruling rights.
Now it is planet Hornet's turn. The corporation has sent the warship Dante to force Hornet to comply. If Hornet refuses to sign the treaty, the Dante will unleash its powerful main guns to annihilate the planet. You are Jutah Fate, part of a group of special operatives sent to destroy the Dante by boarding it and wrecking it from the inside.
Silent Bomber is a 3D action game that has you laying and detonating bombs. You follow the action from an overhead view, guiding Jutah through a series of mission objectives within the Dante warship. You can lay one or more bombs where you stand, or even drop lines of bombs while on the run. Bombs will remain inert until you detonate them, giving you a chance to lure enemies into your trap. You can also target enemies and throw bombs before detonating them. In addition to your "regular" bombs, you can also pick up and use several types of special weapons.
Jutah has a health bar that drops each time he takes a hit. It is possible to boost his health level by collecting green health capsules, however. If Jutah's health is completely depleted the game is over, although players can choose to continue from the beginning of the level with full health. ~ Kyle Knight, All Game Guide
