DESCRIPTION

Shrek 2: Team Action for PC is inspired by 2004's computer animated film starring the voices of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy. The story picks up after Shrek and Princess Fiona return from their honeymoon, when they find a note from Fiona's parents inviting them to visit their home in Far Far Away. The only problem is Fiona's parents are expecting Prince Charming instead of an ogre, causing some turmoil in the newlyweds' life. Viewed entirely from an overhead perspective, Shrek 2 is primarily a combat-oriented game with some platform jumping elements. Players will guide Shrek, Donkey, Gingerbread Man, and Puss-in-Boots as they pummel enemies, collect coins, and solve puzzles to unlock new areas. While the look and premise of the PC title is reminiscent of Shrek 2 on consoles, it is not the same game. Shrek 2 on PC offers fewer levels, options, and playable characters than the Xbox, GameCube, and PlayStation 2 versions. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
