Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 represents the second installment of the popular Japanese series brought State-side by Atlus. At the conclusion of the first installment, Serph had reached Nirvana, an area of the alternate-reality universe known as Junkyard. It was said that those who reach Nirvana shall be recognized as the champions of Junkyard, however, upon their arrival they find only lifeless streets befouled with the remains of human statues. Now players will explore a new world, unlocking hidden bonuses by importing saved data from the original. A new "Berserk" mode allows players to bring the carnage as a half-human half-demon wrecking crew, while a new Karma Ring system adds depth to character development.
