DESCRIPTION

The ninja is one of the world's most feared warriors. Masters of stealth and silence, you normally see one only as you're dying. They are true Shadow Warriors and every company in Japan hires their own. They "protect" company interests, conduct "negotiations" and tidy up any unforeseen messes that crop up.

Lo Wang is such a man. He has been a master for 20 years and is the best of the best. As such, he works for the best, Zilla Enterprises — a corporation with some type of control in just about every industry. They had almost absolute power and, as the saying goes, it corrupted absolutely. Even the CEO, Master Zilla, had fallen prey to the corruption and made a pact with a demon in hopes of ruling all of Japan.

Lo Wang soon discovered Master Zilla's plan and being a man of honor, quit. But a man as powerful as Lo Wang is either with you or dead. So, Master Zilla sets his unholy minions on their first test: kill Lo Wang. In the first person shooter, Shadow Warrior by MacSoft, you are Lo Wang. It's not only your mission to stay alive but to destroy Master Zilla as well.

You travel through 28 levels of death and, along the way, drive tanks, bulldozers, forklifts, boats and more. Use the machines to break through walls and crush the enemy under foot. But, that's not all. You find weapons ranging from throwing stars, katanas and 4-barrel shotguns to enemy body parts. You also swim, jump, climb and basically do whatever is needed to survive.

In addition, there are four other modes of play: deathmatch, co-op, team play and capture-the-flag. Each mode can carry up to eight players with an option for two via modem. Throughout, Lo Wang talks as he travels from location to location within the game.
