Shadow Man is an M-rated journey into the world of the occult, as you play the role of a man with the ability to travel between the land of the living and the land of the dead. The ShadowMen serve as protectors of the spiritual world; they ensure the living never have to deal with the former murderers, thieves, and other miscreants who have found their way into the wasteland known as Deadside. Mike LeRoi, a promising English literature student who frittered his education away on cheap booze and gambling, is the heir apparent to the legacy of the ShadowMen.

Voodoo priestess Mama Netti has transformed LeRoi into a Shadow Man, a zombie warrior with the power of immortality. The power is derived from the Mask of Shadows, a voodoo artifact forcibly placed into LeRoi's chest. He must now seek redemption for his past sins by following Netti's orders. As the Walker-between-the-Worlds, you can draw from the power of the Mask of Shadows and unleash shrieking wraiths from your trusted ShadowGun.
