A great exercise in strategy and mine placement, Sea Battle is a two-player game in which prospective fleet admirals simultaneously deploy and move their armadas toward their opponent's harbor. As fleets are moved along the map they go to battle when in position. Each player is allotted the same number of ships: 1 aircraft carrier, 1 troop transport, 2 battleships, 1 submarine, 3 destroyers, 2 P/T boats, 1 mine layer, and 2 mine sweepers. Some ships launch torpedoes while others shoot gunfire. Ships are ranked according to speed, resilience, weapon strength, weapon range, acceleration and maneuverability. The graphics in this game are simple, yet effective, the sound effects are realistic, and the battles are fun and require quick thinking. Sea Battle is one of the better two-player games, encouraging gamers to engage their minds rather than merely trying to score lots of points. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
