Setting itself apart from other 2D fighters, Samurai Shodown features a host of 12 Samurai combatants wielding blades (which can be lost during battle), in addition to their fists and feet. Ranging from the petite Nakoruru to the lumbering giant Earthquake, each character possesses basic and special moves. Samurai Shodown is an uncensored and graphically faithful translation of the NEO GEO original with everything intact, except for the music, with sounds tinny and hollow in comparison.
