DESCRIPTION
You are the supreme samurai warrior. As such, you must face demons from Hell who unleash their fury on you through an assortment of special moves and unique abilities. Samurai Shodown 2, originally released for the Arcade in 1994, is now available for your PC. All original levels and characters are included in this ported version.
During gameplay, you choose to fight as any one of 15 samurai with the ultimate objective of destroying the Queen of Hell! Fight to the death at one of three levels of difficulty during timed contests, deathmatches or head-to-head battles with an opponent. The backgrounds will be familiar to fans of the original Arcade game and include seashore, jungle, snowfield and waterfall locales.
The interface in Samurai Shodown 2 utilizes a four-button system to allow control of your character's movements as you unleash special moves to counteract those thrown at you by the other combatants. The keyboard, a gamepad or a joystick can be used for control. In order to reach the final objective, you must defeat all of the characters in the game during a succession of rounds.
The Queen of Hell must be defeated and many lives rest on your shoulders. Think you've got the moves, dexterity and stamina to fend off the attack? Find out, as you compete in Samurai Shodown 2! ~ Nick Woods, All Game Guide
