DESCRIPTION
Random violence, thuggery in the name of good and mayhem have new names. They are now called Sam and Max, the Freelance Police.
Sam is a gruff dog who is a cross between Joe Friday and a buzzsaw. His partner in crime-stopping crime is Max, a mutant bunny with a violent streak. The pair has been hired to investigate a problem at a local carnival. It seems that the carnival's star attraction, Bruno the Bigfoot has been thawed out from his block of ice and disappeared. Worse, he's taken The Giraffe-Necked Girl with him. Without these two attractions, the carnival will certainly fail.
But with Sam and Max on the case, things are sure to get solved. Or maybe just broken.
Sam & Max Hit the Road is a graphic adventure that takes place in a uniquely insane world. Journey to exotic tourist traps around the country like Gator Golf and The Mystery Vortex. Play exciting games like Whak-a-Rat for mysterious and useful prizes. Meet unique and interesting people like Doug the Mole Man and beat them senseless for information. Only you can discover the meeting place of the missing bigfoots (bigfeet?) and stop the nefarious plans of British country-western star Conroy Bumpus.
Along the way, you can also discover a few exciting mini-games like Car-Bomb and Highway Surfing. ~ Steve Honeywell, All Game Guide

“A game featuring little to no regard for human life, decency or moral structures. You play as two freelance police officers with their own brand of justice, as they punish the people who personally annoy them.”
