“Admittedly I always felt biased when it came to how I feel about Saints Row over Grand Theft Auto. The truth of the matter is that in general I feel that the Saints Row games are just much more enjoyable then anything Grand Theft Auto has. However that doesn't necessarily mean that Saints Row plays better, it's just much more fun is all.

The story is simple enough and is always a bullet train to more action and gameplay. Some missions have a tendency to be harder then others, however if you play the side mission games to their fullest extent you receive unlockable abilities to make things easier. Truthfully you will spend more time playing the games to get the abilities then you will to earn the "respect" you have to have to play the missions. If anything missions should cost more respect that you earned in the side mission as you get higher in the chain. Simply because by the time I was less then halfway through the game I had developed "infinite respect" and could do whatever I felt like. Which honestly left all those "points" you earn for doing things to be well... pointless.

However even with that gripe it's still a fun game. Just being able to create your character, round up a couple people, and just do whatever you feel like with all cars, guns, and explosives you could ever need. This on it's own makes it somewhat better, admittedly, then then the structured "I need money to do this but first I need to hangout with someone so they like me" aspect of Grand Theft Auto IV.

And honestly that's what I like about it, in fact as soon as I am done writing this I'm going to go make my guy strip naked and go on a killing spree in Chinatown, killing every skinhead he sees.”

“hell damn yes!!! Best 5 bucks ever spent. This game is hilarious. I like how it picks up from the first. Some of the achievements are hilarious. I like how they've improved the aiming and shooting system. Plus the main protagonist finally says more...”

I like how they've improved the aiming and shooting system. Plus the main protagonist finally says more than 2 or 3 lines of dialogue throughout the whole game. Love how you can customize your hideout. Even comes with a game-in-a-game Zombie Uprising (with it's own achievement btw).

Hell of a good sequel. ”
