Shut the curtains and turn down the lights, Rule of Rose is coming to haunt your PlayStation 2. Featuring 50 minutes of spooky cut-scenes selected by the Annecy 2006 International Animated Film Festival, and musical score by Yutaka Minobe, the game centers on an orphan named Jennifer and the unusual children's home she lives in. The Rose Garden Orphanage is pleasant in name only, and the Lord of the Flies-esque inhabitants turn Jennifer into their slave. Players must guide Jennifer and her faithful companion Brown the dog through the game while avoiding monsters and other unpleasantries to find precious items for the "Aristocracy of the Red Canyon," (also known as "the crazy kids"), or face punishment for her sedition. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide

“Pre-teens beating the crap out of people/dogs/birds/etc, sexual undertones between a couple 8-10 year old girls....I think this game got banned somewhere, but haven't done any solid fact-checking.
