DESCRIPTION
Ruiner Pinball is a pinball simulator that offers two different pinball tables. Players can choose from three difficulty settings and play 3, 5 or 7 balls per game. During play there are three tilt buttons to help nudge the ball to the right, left, or straight ahead.
The "Ruiner" pinball table uses a '1960s nuclear warfare theme. This is a double-wide table. Each side of the table offers four flippers (two at the top and two at the bottom.) At various times targets such as bomber aircraft, tanks, and paratroopers will move around the table. Special events occur as the player advances from DEFCON 5 (Defense Condition 5) to the dangerous DEFCON 1.
The "Tower" pinball table uses a medieval fantasy theme. This table consists of three separate areas linked end to end. There is a set of flippers at the bottom of each of the three areas giving the effect of three pinball tables in one. The player seeks to conquer the Tower by casting three spells.
Both of the tables in Ruiner Pinball include features seen in arcade pinball machines such as bonus scores, free balls, and multi-ball play. ~ Joseph Scoleri III, All Game Guide
