DESCRIPTION

Deep in mourning at the funeral of their beloved king, the Kingdom of Bretwalde was caught by surprise when the neighboring empire of Grand Meir launched a sudden attack. The handful of knights who survived, led by Serdic, fled south to the Shalem Emirate Foundation. But the Shalem tribes had no unified solution, and when a surprise visit from Princess Marie of Bretwalde led to kidnap, Serdic and his forces knew they must mobilize and retaliate.

Combining elements of fantasy role-playing and turn-based strategy, Rondo of Swords sends players on an epic journey to reclaim the kingdom of Bretwalde. Gameplay consists of three parts: story, where players encounter and converse with a wide array of characters; battle, in which the player army and the enemy army take turns fighting; and preparation, when players can develop their characters and form parties.
