DESCRIPTION

In Namco's Rolling Thunder, it is your mission to penetrate the secret headquarters of an enemy agency and rescue your kidnapped partner. Conquer five increasingly difficult levels while battling a range of enemies in this side-scrolling action game. From the hooded thugs who shoot their guns and throw their grenades at you, to deadly panthers, ghastly trolls and giant mutated bats, you must be fast on the draw to succeed.

Rolling Thunder is similar to Shinobi in that you have the ability to shoot and jump. Pressing up while jumping, will enable your character to jump up to a second floor if possible. Press down while jumping to leap over the banister and back onto the ground level. Initially you are only armed with a small gun and fifty bullets. Inside the fortress you will find doors labeled "Bullets," which you can enter to restock your bullet supply, as well doors labeled "Arms," which will give you a fast-firing machine gun. ~ Michael Schwartz/Joan Dykman, All Game Guide
