DESCRIPTION
Konami returns to its rhythmic roots with Rock Revolution, a music game modeled after Rock Band and Guitar Hero: World Tour. Rock Revolution features four ways to make music: drums, guitar, bass, and vocals. Instead of using instrument peripherals to keep the rhythm, the DS version involves tapping the stylus for each part. The cartridge features 20 licensed songs in an assortment of game types, including both cooperative and competitive play supporting up to four would-be musicians.
Solo players have a choice to "Rock Out" or earn a living in the "Career Mode." The former lets you play a single song, while the latter involves guiding your band from its humble beginnings in its bid to become a chart-topping success. You'll be able to perform at multiple venues, each of which can be customized with fireworks displays, laser shows, and more. Combos initiated during each song will allow your character to unleash moves such as scissor kicks, while new gear and accessories can be purchased with the money earned from concerts. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
