Rock Blast takes the gameplay of classic puzzle games like Bust-A-Move and turns it upside down — literally. Instead of shooting colored balls up into the air, players must match three or more colored rocks by blasting them downward in an attempt to clear the screen of ever-rising lava rocks. Those who play alone can race the clock in "Time Attack" mode, fight until the end in "Survival" mode, or take on all 99 levels of "Story" mode. Two players can go head-to-head in the Battle Mode or simply compete for the best score in "Time Attack," and special power-ups help gamers destroy, dodge, and freeze the rising rocks. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
