DESCRIPTION

No, your name isn't Robinson. But you are a member of the Alien World Exploration (AWE) military unit, an elite force charged with exploring totally unknown planets for possible colonization sites, thus the nickname Robinson. Having passed an extreme survival test, you've signed on for a five year stint in this unique service and are now coming to the end of your enlistment at which time a huge public demonstration, called a Robinson's Requiem, will be held to commemorate your retirement and celebrate your contributions. But something has gone very wrong.

You've discovered that the Scientific Intelligence (SI) organization behind AWE has issued orders that certain Robinson's, including you, who have come in contact with unknown viruses are to be sacrificed and banished from returning in order to insure no risk of contamination. To this end, your most recent mission was to a planet with magnetic shields which caused you and your companions to lose control and crash land in a hostile environment with little chance to survive. It's the year 2163 and your days seem numbered. Health hazards, nasty predators and simple basic survival (clothing, food, water, weapons) will test your skills to the max. Using first person perspective while exploring over three square miles of a 3D rendered environment complete with canyons, caves, hills and waterfalls, your challenge is to meet and overcome all obstacles and ultimately escape this inhospitable planet. ~ Michael L.
