DESCRIPTION
The combat racing action in Road Rash II is essentially the same as in the original Road Rash, but with a few notable upgrades, including slightly improved graphics, post-race animations, a new weapon (a chain), cows that actually moo, and new obstacles (such as deer). The game has five new courses (Hawaii, Arizona, Tennessee, Alaska, and Vermont) and an option sorely lacking in the original: two-player split-screen action. Regrettably, the two-player game chugs along at a prohibitively slow frame rate, making the option all but unplayable. Also, the music, which is a bit too cheery for a game of this type, lacks the oomph of the original. Still, the one-player game is as enjoyable as ever. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
