“All right, got done with the Game cube Resident Evil 1? Now it's time to go back further, before the mansion. Well, actually the mansion still appears but it begins before the mansion. Anyways, if you enjoy the remake of the first game, but your now hungering for more of the classic Resident Evil style horror, then this game will be a pleasant surprise. First, you might be disappointed that there are two characters to play at the same time. But this problem quickly fades away. These two are involved with each other story wise, but during the game play they are mostly separated and alone, still giving that creepy helpless feeling. Another fresh story, and another chapter of the Resident Evil series. Plus you get to see the most kick-ass character in the whole RE series, Billy Coen.”

“Too hard...not enough weapons. I didn't make it too far thanks to the stupid dogs and zombies. Stopped playing it soon after I started”

It was very pretty to look at, and tied in very well, with the exception of a few minor plot holes, and beating this game made me feel very accomplished. My closing statement for this game....
Billy is awesome, anyone with a mullet fighting zombies is BADASS!!!!”

“Finally got done with the blasted train, so hopefully I'll start playing this more and actually progress. Some tips from a friend certainly helped.”

“As a fairly casual gamer, I find the Resident Evil games more fun to watch than to play. Having read the novel by S.D. Perry based on Resident Evil Zero, however, I really wanted to play this one myself. I found the control scheme much easier to grasp than most of the other Resident Evil games, while still providing a challenge. The dialogue was well written and well delivered; cut scenes and game play merged together very well, both of which are a matter of life or death when it comes to games for me. Overall this is one of my favorite games, though I am still trying to find time to finish it.”

“Fighting large leeches admittedly doesn't seem like a very exciting prospect but the game contained enough classic Resident Evilness to be an enjoyable, tense, and scary experience.”
