“This is probably one of my favorite Resident Evil games. It throws you off a bit the first time, since it's episodic in nature as opposed to one big survival story. The puzzles are also overall much more simplified, but there are still quite a few around. Where the game really shines though, is the multiplayer. It got a lot of complaints for there not being any way to type messages or use voice chat, but it's really not that big of an issue to me. You can still make your character shout basic commands and it really adds immersion to me. Instead of having a omniscient communication channel, you have to stick together and try to find each other when you do split up. As you play you earn points based on how well you do and what difficulty it was. These points can be used to unlock all sorts of little extras like costumes, cutscenes, art, music, etc. That adds quite a bit of replay value. Each character has their own attributes, strengths, weaknesses, and special abilities. Very fun with friends and not bad with random people. Unfortunately, the servers are no longer online though. ”
