Classic go-kart competition crosses the line onto mobile devices with Gameloft's Rayman Kart Racing, featuring characters and environments from the popular platform game series. The game looks and plays in a style similar to the original Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo console. Players have a behind-the-car perspective on their racing characters, who zoom ahead down colorful tracks stocked with various obstacles and power-up items to collect. Controls are straightforward: using directional or number buttons, players can steer left or right, jump, and fire their currently equipped weapon. Six Ubisoft franchise characters are available for play, including Rayman, Globox, Moodblaster, Mr. Rabbid, Razorbeard, and eensie King. Each character can acquire a different special weapon. ~ T.J.
