The tone is much smaller scale as well, with few prominent characters aside from Ratchet and Clank themselves, and the presence of the title characters as no-names without the fame they would have in the sequels. The colorful planets and witty dialogue is as prominent in this one as it is in the sequels as well. This is arguably the weakest in the original trilogy, but it stands alone as a unique and perhaps more humble installment of the series, and is still around the same level of greatness as the rest of the original trilogy.
