DESCRIPTION

Adapted from the hit Arcade game, the Atari 2600 version of Rampage continues the building-smashing slugfests of George the Ape, Lizzie the Lizard and Ralph the Wolf. A secret serum has transformed normal scientists into raging monsters bent on destroying everything in their path. Choose one of the three monsters and begin your destruction!

The army has been dispatched to stop your reign of terror, so do your best to avoid machine gun fire while destroying helicopters, tanks and soldiers. Each time your monster is hit, he/she loses energy. Luckily, you can eat innocent citizens to replenish your health. When you completely run out of energy, you transform back into a human.

Players also get points for the things they eat and smash — a monster gains points for smashing a wall and more points for eating the person inside. Two players can play simultaneously, either working together or against each other. Players progress by completely destroying a city. After doing so, they move onto the next one.
