DESCRIPTION
In Rampage, you play the part of an excessively large monster who smashes buildings. Playable monsters include: Ralph the Wolf, George the Big Ape, and Lizzie the Lizard. Ralph has the toughest punch, George is known for being the best at scaling buildings, and Lizzie is the fastest of the three.
The main objective is to smash buildings. There are more than one hundred cities to destroy. While punching skyscrapers apart, the military will attempt to stop you. Helicopters and tanks shoot at the monsters, but the military units can be dealt with — by smashing them, too. Other vehicles that can be crushed are trolleys, trucks, and police cars.
Sometimes after a building window is smashed an object is revealed. Objects that can be consumed for energy are: civilian people, SWAT men, watermelons, toast, jugs of water, bowls of fruit, and turkeys. Items that are not good to eat or touch include: poison, bombs, candles, light bulbs, toasters, and televisions. To add to the challenge, electircal objects are only dangerous when they are turned on.
During two- or three-player games, players compete for the high score. The monsters can punch each other for damage, or even eat a competitor who has been shrunk down to human size. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
