DESCRIPTION

Based on the final film in the First Blood series starring Sylvester Stallone, Rambo III puts you in the role of John Rambo, a muscle-bound ex-Green Beret armed with a survival knife. Your objective is to rescue Colonel Trautman from a heavily guarded fort somewhere in the desolate desert plains of Afghanistan. Prepare to face commandos, tanks, and choppers along the way.

You must complete three missions to meet the objective. In The Fortress, you have to break in, search for, and rescue the colonel while The Vehicle Compound requires you to shut down the operation by priming bombs in strategic locations before exiting via helicopter. In Run for the Border, you hijack and commandeer a sophisticated enemy battle tank (which can overheat) in a desperate escape attempt with Colonel Trautman.

You keep track of your guns, grenades, rubber gloves, medical kits and other weapons and items through an inventory system and can use and swap them out whenever appropriate.
