DESCRIPTION

Face-off against endless hordes of hostile alien forces. Wave after wave of attacking tanks and spaceships are bent on conquering the Earth. You can try to stop them alone, or you can enlist the aid of a friend for simultaneous play.

Your vehicle is the Raiden Supersonic Attack Fighter. Initially you are armed with a slow firing gun and some bombs. Collecting powerups will increase your offensive firepower. Special weapons include lasers, homing missiles, and rapid-fire machine guns.

In the early levels you find yourself flying over familiar urban and rural landscapes. In later levels you journey into space. At the end of each level you will encounter large "boss" ships. You must defeat the bosses to continue on to the next level.

The game displays your ship in an overhead view looking down on the battle. The terrain scrolls by as you move freely about the entire screen. A status panel on the left side of the screen keeps track of your lives and your weapon status. ~ Joseph Scoleri III, All Game Guide
