DESCRIPTION

Raft Rider is a uniquely nonviolent game in which players control a strange looking man (his coonskin hat looks like a top hat and he's as pale as a ghost) as he floats down a river from left to right, collecting the occasional pile of gold nuggets while dodging trees, moose and rocks. The controls are tough to get used to as they employ a delayed reaction system that forces players to anticipate oncoming objects. There's plenty of challenge here, but the limited action, ill-fitting sound effects and frustrating controls will veer most gamers up a different stream. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
