DESCRIPTION

Purple Turtles involves crossing a lake on the shells of, you guessed it, purple turtles. Located on the other side of the lake is a piece of fruit that must be collected, which is worth a specific number of points. When the fruit is captured, an owl will shiver and another piece will fall from the tree.

While this sounds like a simple process, the turtles (four in total) gradually sink to the bottom of the lake. You must therefore use patience and strategic means to navigate the turtles' shells and predict which ones are about to visit the bottom of the lake. If the character should fall into the lake, he'll lose one of his lives.

Purple Turtles also features a variety of levels and speeds. As you successfully collect the fruit, the action will speed up and turtles will sink two, sometimes three, at a time. While the game can be played in a normal fashion, you can alter the starting level and speed on the main menu.
