DESCRIPTION
The first entry in a new series, Professor Layton and the Curious Village is a collection of 150 brainteasers presented in an adventure-style format. Professor Layton is sent to investigate the village of St. Mystere, whose offbeat residents take delight in baffling visitors with riddles, sliding puzzles, optical illusions, spatial reasoning, mazes, and tests of logic. Players can interact with a number of characters, explore various areas around the village, and learn more of the story through hand-drawn animated cut-scenes. By solving each puzzle, players will move closer to discovering the whereabouts of an affluent baron's prized treasure. In addition to touch-screen controls, The Curious Village on DS supports downloadable content via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

“When I first picked up this game I got it just because of the title alone, and let it be known, never judge a book by it's cover. This game is deep, addictive, and will frustrate you. It's fun, riddles are awesome and this game is full of them.”

“Picked this up again after not playing it for months and months. Beat it with 115 puzzles found and solved out of a total 120 in the game. Only missed 5 while playing through, so that's not to bad.....”
