DESCRIPTION
Pro Pinball: Big Race USA is more than about trying to get a high score, players also have an objective. Your ball represents a taxicab that you are driving from New York to San Francisco and then back to New York. By hitting specific targets players will be performing such actions as picking up passengers, running from the police and knocking other cars off of the road. All of the actions can be read on the multi-lingual dot matrix display.
This is not just a pinball game but also a simulation. Many options exist allowing for complete customization. Options that can be altered in Pro Pinball: Big Race USA are: difficulty, table slope, viewing angle, slingshot power, table age, flipper strength, tilt sensitivity and out-lane size. Players can also make use of the "Tour the Table" option where they can view game shots and rules close-up.
During play there are four flippers to control and up to ten balls can be active at one time! As if that were not enough, Internet play is also available, providing players with the opportunity to go up against a friend or compete in tournaments and ladders. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
