DESCRIPTION
Konami's best-selling soccer series returns with updated features designed around consumer feedback. The analog controls now allow for full 360° movement, the AI for both referees and goalkeepers has been adjusted, and there are more feints and special moves available on the pitch. Over 300 moves have been added in total, with new animations for dribbling, turning, and kicking. Other refinements include more expressive player faces, dynamic lighting, enhanced stadium details, and new crowd chants and cheers. The franchise-style Master League mode adds depth with new fiscal responsibilities, corporate sponsorships, and youth team coaching. Online play is once again supported with a two-on-two option as well as an assortment of new competitions to enter. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

“At first i gave this one a 4-star. But thinking and writing this review, made me re-thing and give it a 3-star review.
Ok. The game is awesome, the players are, without any doubt, real like. The movements are real, and you can feel that the ball are really in your control. And that's the big deal about the 3-star review.
You can't play real football with a controller. The game has everything a real fan need, but the controls are real tough to learn. You can have the best player of the game, like Messi or even Cristiano Ronaldo, but you can't just shoot it properly with a button, or control de ball well with a control stick.
Everything in the game reminds me of the Pro Evolution Soccer 08. The first one to introduce this kinda of movements in the PES franchise. And it was THE WORST THING ABOUT SOCCER IN THE NEW AGE OF GAMING THAT I'VE EVER PLAYED BEFORE. The movements, the shoots, the passing. Everything was terrible.
I see Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 into some kind of evolution for it. The thing here, was to make a game graphically better than Fifa, and well, it is. But, you can't play it LIKE Fifa yet. Fifa has a superb control, and you can play Fifa11 like you played Fifa 98 in the N64 back then. It hasn't changed at all, just improved. And btw, has way more leagues then PES.
Let's see the following years, maybe a 4-star or even a 5-star review.”
