DESCRIPTION
Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame resumes where the original game ended. Having rescued the sultan's daughter, you ask for her hand in marriage. After having your wish granted, you live in happiness for an entire 11 days before the fairytale ending is shattered. One morning, while going to see the princess, you feel a coldness pass over you. As you enter the court, everyone is staring at you, including your betrothed and her father the sultan.
Bewildered by the attention everyone is showing you, you begin to ask what the problem might be — only to be astonished when your double steps out of the shadows and orders you arrested! In a brief instant, you see his true face — it's the vizier, Jaffar. You flee the palace and break through a window, finding yourself on the rooftop where you must fight the guards who are after you and somehow break the spell Jaffar has cast upon you and the princess.
In the same tradition as Prince of Persia, this action game involves jumping, leaping, sword fighting, climbing and running over, under and through various obstacles while eluding the guards trying to capture you. Can you expose the ex-vizier's evil plot and regain the happiness that was momentarily yours? To do so, you must draw upon the skills you used to win the princess's hand, defeat Jaffar and restore your good name. ~ Lisa Karen Savignano, All Game Guide
