DESCRIPTION

Based on the story of The Three Little Pigs, Pooyan is a bizarre game in which players help a mother pig protect her children from being kidnapped by big bad wolves. The pig maneuvers vertically on a pulley near the right side of the screen. To keep the piglets safe, she must fire bows and arrows or heavy meat at balloon-riding wolves that float up or down, depending on the stage. Unfortunately, a single fire button means that players cannot save the meat for later use in especially tense moments. Still, Pooyan is a fun game with charmingly cute graphics, music and sound effects. This looks like a kids' game, but it offers sufficient challenges for adults. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
