DESCRIPTION
Much has changed since 1972. You are no longer bound by the simple laws of back-and-forth and up-and-down. You are no longer simply trying to get your enemy to miss the ball. Things are no longer black-and-white. Nothing is two-dimensional, and it won't cost you a quarter. There can be only one Pong Master.
In Pong: The Next Level from Hasbro, you take control of the classic Pong game from Atari with a not-so-classic style. You must take control of your Pong and fight your way through the many challenges of Pong World's twenty 3D levels. You must defeat all Pong Gladiators, each being stronger and sneakier than the last. Conquer all the different zones and levels encased within and you will be granted golden bars. Use these bars to open new worlds, new challenges and greater enemies. Complete all the zones, the levels within, and unlock all the different variations on each level. Destroy the Pong Gladiators in order to be declared a true and mighty Pong Master.
There are also several power-ups that not only give your Pong new abilities, it can alter the zone itself. There are many hidden bonuses, levels and enemies as well. You can play against the computer to earn the title of Pong Master, or play with up to four friends to see who will be the last Pong standing, and who will need to go home and cry in their pillow! You must win! You must conquer them all! To fail is to lose your very bragging rights! ~ Jason White, All Game Guide
