DESCRIPTION

As the title suggests, Police: Tactical Training is a training exercise set within a police academy. Rookies in training learn to use a variety of firearms and accessories, including 9mm handguns, 12-gauge shotguns, semi-automatic pistols, and a sniper rifle. Gameplay is linear as the cadet advances through 23 levels of increasingly difficult challenges that measure firing skill, quick recognition, and response accuracy.

Aiming skills and valid targeting decisions are honed through a series of missions that include Special Weapons and Tactics training scenarios, weapon qualifications, a target range, and an "alley walk." Learn to handle long-range targeting in day or night sniper training, qualify with various weapons at the range, and develop hand-eye coordination as you attempt to save innocent victims during pop-up target training.

All scenarios are timed and specific point totals are required at each level to advance to the next. Award points are based on location of hits (wound, head, and body zones) with deductions for shooting unarmed suspects or missing targets.
