DESCRIPTION
The third title in Q-Games' PixelJunk series, PixelJunk Eden is something of an action/puzzle/platform hybrid in which players take control of a tiny, amoeba-like creature known as a "grimp." Gamers jump, twirl, and spin silk as they use plant stalks to help destroy "prowlers" and collect enough pollen to germinate seeds. The ultimate goal is to grow enough plants to reach floating "spectra" that provide a pathways to the next level. ~ All Game Guide

“A unique game with trippy music and visuals to match it. The game is fun if a bit hard and gets even harder with multiple people. There are some annoying camera issues with the game, but it was a fun adventure.”

“A very original title. The gameplay can be quite frantic, and at other times very relaxing and soothing. The music is a joy to listen to, and there is plenty to do in the game. It can be difficult to play with friends, though, as the camera tends to favour the player who missed a jump and plummeted to the bottom of the level.”

“Love the funky music and the way the audio and environment react to your "character" interactions. Fun and quick to pick up, this is a good "five minutes before the laundry's done" kinda game.”

“Although PixelJunk Monsters was difficult, it was never prohibitively so. Eden, on the other hand, is so harsh a mistress that I have all but given up on it. Life's too short to be frustrated, and I have too many 'easy' games to invest my energy in.”

“I got this when it was on sale in late 2008. It was a great purchase! Definitely worth it for how cheap it was. It's a nice game to relax with.”
