DESCRIPTION

Taking a cue from its console counterparts, Pitfall II: The Lost Caverns blends elements from both Pitfall and Pitfall II: The Lost Caverns for the Atari VCS. Players help guide Pitfall Harry as he runs and jumps through deadly jungles and ancient caverns on a journey for three hidden treasures. Players are given three minutes to complete the quest, but can earn more time by picking up bonus items such as bags of money. Harry will not only encounter traditional hazards such as crocodiles, poisonous frogs, and scorpions, but bolts of lightning and volcanic rock as well. ~ Chris Cavanaugh, All Game Guide
