DESCRIPTION
Pitfall II: Lost Caverns is only marginally improved over its Atari VCS counterpart in terms of graphical detail. Yet it retains all the elements that made the original game a classic, including great gameplay and solid controls (unlike Pitfall! for the 5200, which has awful controls and therefore frustrating gameplay). In addition, this rendition has a secret cavern (complete with far-apart platforms and rabid bats) not found in the Atari VCS version. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
