DESCRIPTION

Pirates: Duel on the High Seas is an action game of naval combat, set during the height of High Seas adventure, when tall ships ruled the oceans and the New World was still new. Players steer their tall ship from a top-down perspective, to out-position their opponents and fire away with cannonballs, chain shot, mines, and rockets. Many levels involve narrow passages that must be cautiously navigated, or lines of enemy ships that must be approached with a tactical plan in mind. Players find both trouble and treasure as they sail the seas of seven distinct locations, including the Caribbean, the Persian Gulf, and the China Sea, facing the Spanish Navy, the dread pirate Blackbeard, and even an Asian dragon and the mighty Kraken. As they conquer enemies and recover lost treasure, players can upgrade their ships and crew. The game includes 70 levels total: 35 in the single-player campaign, and another 35 for skirmishes.
